The Buckeyes completed their third straight Big Ten championship season with a 14-3 win over Michigan in rainy Ann Arbor.

The Ohio State defense held the Wolverines to just 91 total yards.

A pair of touchdown runs from Chris “Beanie” Wells was more than enough to lead the Buckeyes to a comfortable win.

A one-yard rush in the second quarter gave the Bucks a 7-3 halftime lead.

Wells added a 62-yard touchdown on OSU’s first play of the second half, and then Jim Tressel put the offense into cruise control.

Michigan quarterback Chad Henne finished just 11-for-34 for 68 yards, and Mike Hart had 18 carries for 44 yards.

Both long-time Wolverine start ended their careers 0-4 against the Buckeyes.
