Four-star Minneapolis (Edina Senior) offensive lineman Quinn Carroll released his Top 6 on Wednesday and the Buckeyes joined Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Penn State in the cut. Carroll tweeted out the news.

Carroll (6-6 295) is ranked the No. 10 offensive tackle in the 2019 class and the No. 57 overall prospect per the 247Sports Composite. He is the top prospect in the state of Minnesota. Rivals ranks Carroll as the No. 6 tackle and the No. 33 player overall.

At this point, Notre Dame appears to be the favorite.

Carroll visited Ohio State for the Oklahoma game last season. He has visited Notre Dame and Minnesota on numerous occasions as well.

A First-Team All-State selection last season as a junior, Carroll is a mauling run blocker playing in a predominantly run-heavy offensive attack at Edina Senior High.

Ohio State already has two offensive linemen committed in 4-star prospects Doug Nester and Ryan Jacoby. The 2019 offensive line haul is expected to be sizable, as the Buckeyes have already offered 20 or so linemen to this point.

Ohio State is also involved with 5-star Michigan lineman Devontae Dobbs and 5-star West Virginia lineman Darnell Wright. Top 100 linemen Harry Miller (Buford, GA) and Xavier Truss (Warwick, RI) are on OSU’s radar as well.

Four-star Cincinnati (Anderson) guard Zeke Correll has also been offered by Ohio State and the Buckeyes are believed to be the favorites here.
