The Buckeyes went into Evanston and ran roughshod over the Wildcats by 49 points. Even when trying to run out the clock, backup running backs were ripping off 73-yard touchdown runs and 53-yard non-touchdown runs. It was the old movie trope of the jocks stuffing nerds into their lockers as Ohio State won its seventh consecutive game by more than 20 points to start the season — something it last accomplished in 1973. Chip and I discuss the pasting of Northwestern, compare notes on our predictions and see how our picks to click fared in the game. What does Wisconsin’s loss mean for the big showdown in the Shoe this Saturday? Well, Ohio State already gets everyone’s best shot. But there’s a good bet that the Badgers will bring a shot even better than their best shot because they could otherwise fall two games behind Minnesota in the B1G West race. We’re expecting some physicality and we’ll give you our score predictions and picks to click for the Buckeyes vs. the Badgers.
