Silver Bullets Podcast — Maryland Preview, a Transfer, and the B1G

We’re back from the second Ohio State open date and it was not a great slate of games that we had to choose from, but we still watched anyway because…college football. Chip and I looked around the Big Ten and discussed the results from the teams that played over the weekend. Indiana is doing good work this year and the battle in the Big Ten West is about to heat up as the top teams start playing each other.

We discussed former OSU defensive back Isaiah Pryor, who is transferring to Notre Dame, and we even got into recruiting a little bit after the Buckeyes landed a commitment from Marvin Harrison, Jr. A couple of other OSU commits had huge games this past weekend and we’ll tell you about those as well.

Finally, we give you our predictions, expectations, and picks to click for an Ohio State team that’s about to welcome Maryland to the Horseshoe. The Terrapins are 85th in total defense and 86th in total offense, while the Buckeyes…well, they’re much higher in both of those categories. We don’t expect a close game (check out how our predictions compare to the 44-point spread) but you never know what might happen.
