Adolphus Washington, Lawrence Wilson, John Simon
A bit of a brute in high school, he regularly displayed power and quickness in getting to the football. His rankings dipped over the last year considerably, as he was once ESPN's No. 1 player overall in the 2015 class. Will need to become more refined, obviously, as he will not be able to rely on the same few moves that proved productive in high school.
Cornell is already enrolled, so he will benefit greatly from spring football and winter conditioning. The Buckeyes are looking for playmakers on the defensive line, and even though Cornell is just a true freshman, Larry Johnson will not discriminate. The defensive ends are unproven, save for Joey Bosa, so there are plenty of unknowns heading into Spring Football. Cornell could certainly find him in the rotation if he is effective.
