Tremendous athlete that could end up at defensive end or tight end. Excels at both. Also very solid on the basketball court, dunks with ease. Reported 4.42 40-yard dash is almost certainly not a reality, but athleticism and speed are not issues. Relentless defender who creates havoc despite double and triple teams. As a receiver, can get downfield and control the middle of the field.
Probably starts out at tight end given the lack of depth at that position. Could see the field almost immediately this season as the Buckeyes only return two tight ends with any kind of playing time. If he starts out at tight end, he will compete with redshirt sophomore Marcus Baugh for the No. 2 spot. If he wins that job, he will play a lot. This projection is based on H-back Noah Brown not being moved to tight end.
