Nate Salley, Tyvis Powell
Played safety in high school but will likely start out at cornerback, just like Nate Salley and Tyvis Powell, who were both long and tall. Covers a lot of ground while the ball is in the air.
There will be some freshmen in the secondary who see the field, but it will be up to how quickly they pick up the defense and the special teams. If Burns does start out at corner, expect him to spend his first season redshirting.
