Something that Jerome Baker said this spring sticks out to me after today...

He said that you have to trust your teammates to do their jobs. Last year, he knew he didn't have to worry about anybody.

Fast-forward to today and Urban Meyer said one of the problems with the defense is that the players were trying to do too much, rather than just doing their job. Sometimes when you know your teammates aren't trustworthy, you try to make their plays as well.

Is Baker not confident in a teammate? Just thinking out loud.

See my email I sent you today Tony. Booker and Worley both don't seem to know what they're doing in pass coverage....and if Baker is trying to do too much because of that it puts him out of position also.

That kind of makes sense.  With so many new guys in the back half it will take some time for them to trust each other and to work together as one unit.

I asked Worley about it on Tuesday and he said it's not about not trusting teammates but not trusting yourself and your job. Not sure I agree, but that's his thought.
