Two-Minute Drill: Buckeyes Celebrate Leaders Division Title
By Brandon Castel

MADISON, Wisc. — It wasn’t a perfect victory, but Ohio State’s wildly imperfect undefeated season took another step towards perfection on Saturday.

Many of the Buckeyes proudly wore their Leaders Division Championship shirts to postgame interviews inside Camp Randall Stadium after another nail-biting victory over Wisconsin.

The Buckeyes are now just one win away from a perfect 12-0 season, but they have big one against the school up north to finish out there season. Urban Meyer and his players weren’t quite ready to turn their focus to Michigan after the game. Here’s a look at what Ohio State’s head coach and some of the players had to say.

Meyer Soaks It Up

* Meyer said Ohio State played a great defense in a great environment.

* Meyer said Ohio State is not a finished product on offense, and they need to get Carlos Hyde more touches.

* Meyer: "I can't stand watching it when we have no vertical threat."

* Meyer said they thought their up-tempo approach would hurt Wisconsin's defense, but they handled it well.

* Meyer said the defense is much better when they are pressuring.

* Meyer said they have a new saying, "A team that refuses to be beat can't be beat."

* Meyer said LB Ryan Shazier did not get "knocked out" today.

* Meyer on Michigan game: "This is all I ever knew growing up."

* Meyer said this was a really good team that's been to a bunch of Rose Bowls, but when you use the "R" word, there's only one rivalry game.

* Meyer said he muzzled the 12-0 talk before, but they can talk about it now.

Hyde Wanted the Football

* Hyde said he kept telling his coach to give him the ball in the 2nd half. Felt he could have sparked the offense.

* Hyde said the defense wasn't respecting him on the ride plays. They were keying on Braxton every time.

* Hyde said they finally gave it to him on the play in overtime, and boom 10 yards.

* Hyde said Wisconsin had both ends playing contain and they were spying Braxton.

* Wisconsin DB Dezmen Southward said the key to defending Braxton Miller was being able to play man defense on the WRs.

* Southward said it allowed them to bring a safety into the box to spy Braxton Miller.

* Hyde said Braxton was getting frustrated throughout the game, but Carlos kept telling him to stay calm and they would pull it out.

* Miller said he wished they had gotten the ball to Carlos a little bit more because there were some things open there.

Shazier Makes the Play

* Shazier said he watched enough film of Montee Ball to know he was going to jump for the end zone.

* Shazier said 4th and 1 he knew they were going to give it to Ball and he knew he was going to jump.

* Shazier said he had a neck sprain when he got knocked out of the game.

* Shazier said they feel they got robbed of being able to go to a bowl game this year.

Defense Steps Up

* Zach Boren said the defense knew the offense would score first in overtime, everyone wanted to make up for letting up that late TD.

* Boren said the defense has come a LONG way since the Indiana game. A lot more confident now.

* Boren said he didn't ask to play both ways this week after Bri’onte Dunn went down with a knee injury. Feels good at LB.

* Hankins said they were disappointed they let Montee Ball tie the record, but they refused to let him break it.
