Ohio State Releases 2014 Football Schedule
By Tony Gerdeman

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Big Ten released the 2014 conference football schedule Thursday afternoon, allowing each of their member schools to finally do the same now that they know which Big Ten teams they will be playing.

With the Big Ten going to East and West divisions in 2014, it was already known that Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Indiana, Maryland and Rutgers would be on Ohio State's schedule. Now we know that the two West Division teams will be Minnesota and Illinois.

Here is Ohio State's full 2014 schedule:

August 30 - at Navy (Baltimore, MD)
September 13 - Kent State
September 20 - Virginia Tech
September 27 - Cincinnati
October 4 - at Maryland
October 18 - Rutgers
October 25 - at Penn State
November 1 - Illinois
November 8 - at Michigan State
November 15 - at Minnesota
November 22 - Indiana
November 29 - Michigan

December 6 - Big Ten Championship Game

For the Buckeyes, the games against Maryland and Rutgers will be their first ever meetings against either school. Ohio State will then travel to State College, where they haven't lost since 2005. (Or 1997 if you are counting vacated games.)

Illinois then comes to Columbus, where their last win came in the infamous "Juice Williams Game" in 2007. The Buckeyes follow that game with a trip to Michigan State, where they haven't lost since 1999.

Ohio State then travels to Minnesota, where the Buckeyes haven't lost since 1981. They host Indiana the following week. The Hoosiers' last win in Columbus came in 1987.

The Buckeyes then cap their regular season at home against Michigan. Ohio State has won the last five home games against the Wolverines, and 10 of the last 15 in the series overall.

The Big Ten Championship Game will again be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
