"Just got out of surgery today feeling a-okay," Perry said via his Twitter account.
A team spokesman said there was no official word on Perry's injury.
The surgery does not seem to be related to the injury Perry suffered Saturday during the Buckeyes' 56-0 win at Purdue.
Perry left the field in the second half with what appeared to be a left arm injury, but later returned to the game.
Co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell said after the game that he expects Perry to be ready for the Buckeyes' next game, Nov. 16 at Illinois.
The sophomore has appeared in all nine games for the Buckeyes this season and has recorded 33 tackles.
