Winning a common quality for Freshman class
By Rob Ogden
In the Big Ten, especially at a big-time program like Ohio State, winning is an expectation, not a hope. 12-0 was a good start, but the Buckeyes believe they have the tools to build on that in 2013.
This year's freshman class adds quite a few more tools into the toolbox, but none of them have ever experienced winning at the college level.
Team success in high school isn't overly indicative of individual talent, but knowing how to win is a trait that shouldn't be overlooked.

Freshman defensive back Vonn Bell comes from a pretty solid high school program. His Ridgeland High School team finished 2012 as runners-up in the Georgia Class AAAA state championship game.
Fellow freshman Dontre Wilson's DeSoto, Texas team also finished 2012 as state runners-up.
Bell said a little bit of bragging about high school glory days can occasionally go on between the two roommates.
"We try to look back on high school a little bit," Bell said. "He's always gonna say something about Dallas football, but I tell him Georgia football is tough too."
