For the second-consecutive season, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has been named the Big Ten's Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year.

Miller entered the season as the early favorite - and Heisman favorite, as well - then faded from the conversation after missing three games with a sprained knee.

He struggled in his second game back, and was nearly benched by coach Urban Meyer during Ohio State's 40-30 win over Northwestern on Oct. 5.

In the three games following that win, however, Miller completed 59-of-74 passing attempts for 707 yards and 11 total touchdowns.

On the season, Miller has completed nearly 66 percent of his passes for 1,759 yards and 21 touchdowns with five interceptions. He's added 891 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.

He leads the Big Ten in passing efficiency with a 164.3 rating and also ranks first in the league in  total offense per game in conference play with 295 yards per game.

The Offensive Player of the Year Award was Miller's sixth individual Big Ten award - the most in Big Ten history. Miller has twice won the Graham-George Award and twice won the Griese-Brees Quarterback of the Year award. He won the 2012 Silver Football Award and was named the Thompson-Randle El Freshman of the Year in 2011.

Miller surpassed former Buckeye Orlando Pace as the most decorated player in Big Ten football history.

The Big Ten's Defensive Player of the Year award went to Wisconsin linebacker Chris Borland, who finished third in the Big Ten with 9.3 tackles per game.

Borland also beat out Ohio State's Ryan Shazier for the award, as well as for the Butkus-Fitzgerald Award, given to the league's top linebacker.

Shazier leads Borland in nearly every statistical category, including tackles (122), tackles per game (10.2) and tackles for loss (21).

Michigan's Mark Dantonio was named Big Ten Coach of the Year.

Ohio State will face Dantonio's Spartans in the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis on Saturday.
