Corey Linsley, Christian Bryant Selected in NFL Draft, Several Others Sign Free Agent Deals

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Buckeyes ended up with six players chosen in the 2014 NFL Draft, as center Corey Linsley went in the fifth round to the Green Bay Packers, and safety Christian Bryant went in the seventh round to the St. Louis Rams.

Those two joined first-round picks Ryan Shazier (15th to Pittsburgh) and Bradley Roby (31st to Denver), and second-round picks Carlos Hyde (57th to San Francisco) and Jack Mewhort (59th to Indianapolis).
Linsley, an All-Big Ten selection last season, was the 151st pick overall. He graduated in December with a degree in economics.
Bryant was selected with the 241st overall pick. Due to a broken ankle, he only played in the first five games last season. He is the 12th Ohio State defensive back drafted in the last 10 years.
As far as the undrafted free agents go, there have been numerous reports that Kenny Guiton has signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but his agent insists that he is still working on finding the right fit for his client. This would imply that there may be a bit of a bidding war going on for Guiton.
Guard Andrew Norwell and receiver Corey "Philly" Brown have both signed with the Carolina Panthers, while guard Marcus Hall will join Jack Mewhort in Indianapolis.
Safety C.J. Barnett signed with the New York Giants, while kicker Drew Basil will get a shot with the Atlanta Falcons. Running back Jordan Hall will get a tryout with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as will Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown apparently (his Twitter account semi-confirms this).
Receiver Chris Fields is the lone departing scholarship senior without any news regarding a free agent deal. We will update this list with any new signings.
