Game Picks: OSU vs. Illinois
By the-Ozone Staff
I haven't felt this confident about a pick since taking Ohio State to beat Penn State at home. … Wait. Ohio State 69, Illinois 61 — Rob Ogden (4-6)
Illinois has lost nine of their last 10, so even though this is a road game for the Buckeyes, it is one that they should win. However, "should win" means absolutely nothing to this Ohio State team, so I don't even know why I'm using it. That being said, I expect the Buckeyes to come out very focused, as they were for the Michigan game. The difference this time around is that Illinois doesn't have Michigan's offense, which means Ohio State's 61 points should be enough to win. Oops, there I go again with the "should". Ohio State 61, Illinois 56 — Tony Gerdeman (3-7)
The Buckeyes aren't happy with their home loss to Michigan after winning three straight. They get an Illini team that sits at the bottom of the Big Ten standings. Illinois has one win, over Nebraska, in its last 10 games. OSU should rebound from its loss and get another road win. Ohio State 73 Illinois 61 — Patrick Murphy (3-7)
Ha! Ogden didn’t flip a coin. (flip) Looks like the Buckeyes. Don’t look at me like that. I’m 2-8 for crying out loud. You want genius? Not this year with this team in this league. OSU 64, Illinois 55— John Porentas (2-8)
