Men's Basketball
OSU vs. MSU Staff Picks
By the-Ozone Staff

I've seen a lot of talk about Aaron Craft vs. Keith Appling but I think it comes down to the battle in the paint. Amir Williams has played well recently but I think he's in for a very tough night against Adreian Payne. If he can win the battle, the Buckeyes have a good shot but I just don't see that happening. Ohio State will keep it close with their defense but the Spartans take it in the end. Michigan State 67 Ohio State 64 — Patrick Murphy

The Buckeyes have won two of their last three in East Lansing, so a win at Michigan State isn't all that unheard of. However, I expect Ohio State's undefeated season will come to an end in this one. Offensively, they will struggle to score, and I don't see the Buckeyes having an answer for MSU center Adreian Payne. Michigan State 68, Ohio State 58 —Tony Gerdeman

Big Ten road wins are hard to come by - especially at the Breslin Center. The last time the Buckeyes were there, they managed only 56 points, and half of them were from Deshaun Thomas. Michigan State 68, Ohio State 65 — Rob Ogden

East Lansing is an incredibly tough place to win a basketball game, but so is Bloomington, and the Buckeyes pulled that off last year. If their shots fall, the Buckeyes prevail. I say they do. In an upset, the Buckeyes take control of the Big ten with a win. OSU 73, MSU 67 — John Porentas
