Men's Baskeball
Staff Picks: OSU vs. Wisconsin
By the-Ozone Staff

Even though a trip to Wisconsin is never easy for the Buckeyes, the Badgers are struggling almost as badly as Ohio State is. The good news for the Buckeyes is that they won't have to score a lot of points to win. The bad news is that they will still have to actually score some points. I expect a very low-scoring game, and possibly a halftime nap for me. If two of Shannon Scott, Lenzelle Smith and Sam Thompson can hit their shots, I like OSU's chances. That being said, I don't like OSU's chances. Wisconsin 58, Ohio State 48 — Tony Gerdeman (2-4)

The Buckeyes are 1-8 in games in Madison under coach Thad Matta. What makes you think they're going to win this time? Wisconsin 64, Ohio State 58 — Rob Ogden (2-4)

Going to Madison is never easy, especially when you aren't playing well and the Buckeyes fall into that category. The Badgers have been struggling too, losing four of their past five, and have some of the same issues as OSU. Wisconsin settles for threes and they haven't been making them. If they start, Ohio State could be in big trouble, otherwise they might be able to hang around for a while. Wisconsin 65 Ohio State 58 — Patrick Murphy (2-4)

I don't know how bad the Badgers are reeling, but I do know how bad it is right now for the Buckeyes. It's bad, and until we see proof to the contrary, it's hard to pick the Buckeyes. Wisonsin 70, OSU 53 — John Porentas (1-5)
