High School All-American Games Will Feature a Number of Buckeye Commits
By Tony Gerdeman

The onset of the college football bowl season also means that it is time for the high school All-American games to find their ways to your television, most notably the Under Armour Game and the Army All-American Bowl. Those two games are also joined by the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl as well as the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.

All four of these games take place in successive days between January 2 and January 5, beginning with the Under Armour Game, then the Offense-Defense Bowl, followed by the Semper Fidelis Bowl, and then capped by the Army All-American Bowl. Neither the Semper Fidelis game nor the Offense-Defense game will be featuring any Buckeye commits.

The four-day spree kicks off on ESPN with the Under Armour All-American Game, which has just two Buckeye commits playing. There are, however, 15 other Big Ten commits playing, including seven future Wolverines alone.

Next up is the Offense-Defense All American Bowl, which doesn't appear to be airing on television once again this year. Fortunately, you won't miss any Buckeye commits. You will, however, miss Michigan commit Chase Winovich.

Big Ten Commits
LB Chase Winovich (6-4 220) Jefferson Hills, PA (Michigan)

For a Buckeye fan, the first two games were merely the appetizer for the main course that is the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 4. There are seven current OSU commits playing, with four prospects who are looking at Ohio State, including two (Marshon Lattimore, Erick Smith) who will be making their decisions during the game.
