Scouting Report
Per John McCallister, Berger is tough and has a good frame, but will need to add weight. The best thing about him is his closing speed. He can run and has good hips, and is not afraid of contact. He runs downhill well and fills well, and he finishes every play. Reminiscent of Michigan's Jake Ryan, but runs better than Ryan.

Immediate Projection

Considering that he's missed an entire season with an ACL tear, it would be premature to expect much out of Berger this season. However, he is the type of player that generally exceeds expectations.
