Michigan DE Lawrence Marshall De commits From OSU
By Tony Gerdeman
Three days after committing to Ohio State in Urban Meyer's office, Lawrence Marshall has de committed from the Buckeyes and re-opened his recruitment.
Following a weekend visit to Columbus that saw him get swept up enough to verbally commit to the Scarlet and Gray, Marshall visited Michigan State Tuesday night to take in the basketball game between the Wolverines and the Spartans.
He sat with members of the Michigan State football team during the game, and at one point had the student section chanting his name. Despite the trip to East Lansing, however, he tweeted that was still committed to Ohio State.
Then on Wednesday night, as first reported by Steve Lorenz with 247 Sports, Marshall was currently on an unofficial visit at the University of Michigan.
Shortly thereafter, Marshall tweeted "I had a great time at Michigan State yesterday. I had a wonderful time at Michigan today, and an even better time at Ohio State, but I want to consider other schools, so I am de committing from Ohio State."
The decommitment will now lead to a very interesting battle between not only Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State, but every other Midwest power that decides to get involved as well.
