Ohio State Recruiting: Prep Report

The touchdowns were flowing for the Buckeye commits over the weekend, which shouldn't be much of a surprise any longer. Eastern commits Noah Brown, Curtis Samuel and Malik Hooker combined for 11 touchdowns, and even more highlights.
Ten commits remain undefeated at this point, and several of these teams look like they'll be making a playoff run when the time comes.
Noah Brown, WR/ATH (Pope John XXIII, Sparta, NJ
Brown and Pope John (3-0) got a 35-3 win over Morris Hills. Brown had a huge game as a pass-catcher, snagging eight receptions for 204 yards and four touchdowns. He carried the ball once for no gain and had a 20-yard kickoff return.

Curtis Samuel, ATH (Erasmus Hall, Brooklyn, NY)
Erasmus Hall moved to 4-0 on the season with a 47-0 win over Lehman. Curtis Samuel carried the ball five times for 145 yards and two touchdowns, caught one pass for a 40-yard touchdown, and returned a punt for a 45-yard touchdown per Rivals.

Malik Hooker, ATH (New Castle, New Castle, PA)
New Castle (4-1) got a 47-12 win over Chartiers Valley. Hooker finished with three touchdowns, one via a 99-yard kickoff return, and the others on a long rush and long reception.
Demetrius Knox, OL (All Saints, Fort Worth, TX)
All Saints Episcopal (5-0) rolled to another blowout with a 48-13 win over Episcopal School of Dallas.
Jamarco Jones, OL (De La Salle, Chicago, IL)
De La Salle (4-1) got a 42-7 win over St. Joseph.
Terry McLaurin, WR (Cathedral, Indianapolis, IN)
Cathedral (2-4) lost a tough one to Louisville Trinity 35-30. McLaurin caught two passes for 33 yards.

Stephen Collier, QB (Lee County, Leesburg, VA)
Collier led his #1 Lee County Trojans (5-0) to a 28-14 win over Dodge County. Collier finished 11-25 passing for 167 yards. He also rushed for a touchdown.

Jalyn Holmes, DE (Lake Taylor, Norfolk, VA)
Holmes returned from suspension to help his team to a 56-0 win over Norfolk Murray. Lake Taylor moved to 3-1 on the season. Holmes caught a touchdown pass from 53 yards out.
Sean Nuernberger, K (Oldham County, Buckner, KY)
Oldham County (2-4) fell to Bullitt East 38-21. Nuernberger was 3-3 on his PATs.

Dante Booker, LB (SVSM, Akron, OH)
SVSM (5-0) got a 41-6 win over Akron Hoban. Booker finished with 10 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Hoban rushed for just 10 yards.

Lonnie Johnson, ATH (West Side, Gary, IN)
West Side (3-3) got a 60-0 win over Indianapolis Arlington. Johnson caught two passes for 44 yards, both were touchdown (29, 15 yards). He also had four tackles, two tackles for loss and an interception.

Kyle Berger, LB (St. Ignatius, Cleveland, OH)

Sam Hubbard, ATH (Moeller, Cincinnati, OH)
Moeller (5-0) got a 20-17 win over Cincinnati St. Xavier.

Dylan Thompson, DL (Montini Catholic, Lombard, IL)
Montini Catholic moved to 5-0 with a 27-3 win over Marmion Academy.

Parris Campbell, ATH (SVSM, Akron, OH)
Campbell carried the ball 16 times for 82 yards and one touchdowns in a 41-6 win over Akron Hoban. He also had a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Kyle Trout, OL (Lancaster, Lancaster, OH)
Lancaster dropped to 2-3 with a 38-6 loss to Pickerington North.
Damon Webb, CB (Cass Tech, Detroit, MI)
Cass Tech (5-0) got an easy win over Detroit Central 76-0. Webb caught a 60-yard touchdown pass and also returned a punt for a score.
Marcelys Jones, OL (Glenville, Cleveland, OH)
Glenville (4-1) got a 53-7 win over JFK.
Eric Glover-Williams, 2015 ATH (McKinley, Canton, OH)
McKinley moved to 5-0 on the season with a 18-14 win over the Lake Blue Streaks. Glover-Williams suffered an ankle injury early in the game, but did make it back onto the field, though he was very limited. He finished with 3 rushes for 17 yards and was 4-6 passing for 60 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
