Army All-American; Despite being listed as a safety, played cornerback in the Army All-American Bowl and was arguably the best defender on his team; Third-team All-Ohio as a senior.

Compares To
Donte Whitner, Vonn Bell, Christian Bryant

Scouting Report
Physical and fast, he is known as a hitter but impressed everybody with his ability to cover at the Army All-American Bowl. According to John McCallister, he closes extremely well and finishes his tackles.

Immediate Projection
Smith should be able to help out immediately on special teams, and will likely battle for a spot right away on the defensive two-deep. He did not enroll early, so he will have to make up quite a bit of ground when he does finally arrive.
