Per John McCallister, Trout is tough and strong and becoming a better bender. He has good offensive line instincts, and he plays every play hard. He is also solid in space.
While Ohio State is looking for four new starters on the offensive line, there are at least three tackles ahead of Trout in the pecking order, and just as many candidates for the open guard spot(s). Ideally, Trout would be allowed to redshirt, but that will depend on how well the offensive line depth performs.
