The Grumpy Old Buckeye: Ohio State vs. Cincinnati
It’s your Week 2 edition of Grumpy Old Buckeye and we’re talking about Ohio State vs. the University of Cincinnati. If you’re new to this column, welcome! The aim here is to be the voice of negativity, even when things are generally pretty great. I point out the things from each game that make me want to walk out onto my lawn in my bathrobe and yell at people about it.

UC Performance a Confidence Booster for JK Dobbins, Buckeyes
COLUMBUS — One of junior running back J.K. Dobbins’ goals this season was to get back to his freshman form. Last season Dobbins averaged 4.6 yards per carry, which was well under his 7.2 yards per carry as a true freshman. Their coach is equal parts hilarious and certifiable, so I have no idea if he’s about to roll out a competitive, innovative game plan that…

J.K. Dobbins Poised For A Breakout Junior Season
Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins rushed for 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2018. So how did Dobbins grade his performance? “It was a failure. Last year was failure to me.”

Statistical Projection: Ohio State Running Backs
Thus far, our statistical projections have touched on a little over a dozen Buckeye players. We were able to pinpoint exactly who would catch the ball this season for the hometown team. To do so, a complex algorithm was created and utilized. The system is based on hundreds of factors, churns out millions of reports, and predicts stats for the entire OSU roster.
