The No. 3 Michigan Wolverines came within an inch of upsetting the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes in double-overtime, but for the 14th time in 16 seasons, OSU won The Game.
This was the first matchup of top-5 teams in the series since 2006, and The Game lived up to every bit of the hype.
With the Buckeyes facing 4th-and-1 and trailing 27-24 in the second overtime period, OSU quarterback J.T. Barrett just barely got the ball across the 15 yard line to gain the game-saving first down.
On the next play, Curtis Samuel raced into the end zone with the game-winning touchdown, ending the first ever overtime game in the legendary rivalry.
