There is no time of year more iconic on the Ohio State University campus than autumn.
School is back in session, the air turns crisp and cool, and… oh yeah… the Buckeyes spend a lot of Saturdays beating up on football teams from other institutions of higher learning.
It’s the most popular time of year for alumni to return, and not just on Homecoming weekend like a lot of schools.
Every home football weekend is a chance to head back to walk across the Oval, grab a beverage at the Varsity Club or Out-R-Inn, and watch a game in the big, gray Horseshoe on the banks of the Olentangy.
It’s also quite possibly the prettiest time of year to be on campus as well. The leaves are turning, giving campus a colorful look you can’t get during the other seasons.
If you haven’t been back to Columbus in a while, we hope you’ll enjoy this stroll through The Ohio State University campus in late October.
