Because of his size and versatility, Leonard Taylor (6-6 261) may not yet have a definite home on the football field. He is, however, beginning to narrow down exactly which university will house that field.

The 4-star tight end/defensive tackle from Springfield, Ohio released his Top 10 via Twitter on Saturday.

Ohio State made the list, as did Wisconsin, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisville, Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Kentucky, and Cincinnati. Taylor committed to Michigan in April of 2016, but decommitted later that summer.

Taylor is ranked as the No. 14 tight end in the nation and the No. 302 player in the 2018 class per the 247Sports Composite. Some also view Taylor as an eventual defensive lineman. ESPN ranks him as the No. 11 defensive end in the nation and the No. 108 player in the class overall. He could conceivably end up anywhere on the line of scrimmage, be it offense or defense. He is also rated the No. 14 prospect in Ohio per the Composite.

Taylor is enough of an athlete to excel on both sides of the ball in high school, and also play a little bit of quarterback for his football team as well.

Taylor may or may not fit into Ohio State’s plans on the defensive side of the ball, but they are still in the market for a tight end or two. While the Buckeyes like where they stand with 4-star New York tight end Jeremy Ruckert, they did recently miss out on 3-star Florida prospect Zach Sheffer, who committed to LSU. Could Taylor fit into one of Ohio State’s two tight end slots in the 2018 class?

These questions will likely take a while longer to answer.

Currently, Kentucky leads with 82% of the Crystal Ball predictions. Ohio State has the other 18%.
