In this edition of Accost the Field, we talk about the Heisman Trophy and its declining interest. We take a quick look at Ohio State’s Heisman candidates in 2018.
Then we turn to Michigan football and the addition of quarterback Shea Patterson. But don’t start crowning the Wolverines just yet. What kind of drama will Patterson bring to the quarterback room at Michigan?
We then touch on the possible early entries into the NFL Draft for Ohio State. Then we spend a good bit of time on why no Buckeyes are expected to skip the bowl game and how that is in a stark contrast to what could be happening at Michigan. Is it a lack of “brotherhood” within the Wolverine football program that brings thoughts of skipping the bowl game, and is it that lack of brotherhood that causes Michigan to fold at the end of football games?
We then spend a quick second on the Cotton Bowl before moving on to listener questions.
So that you don’t miss the news below, we are now also available on the TuneIn app as well as IHeartRadio. You can also continue to find us in all of the usual spots you always have before.
