Ohio State running backs J.K. Dobbins, Mike Weber, and Antonio Williams, and RB coach Tony Alford met with the media on Monday to review everything that has happened during spring football practice, and preview this Saturday’s Spring Game.
The big question was how the coaching staff will find a way to get enough carries for all of the talented backs.
Weber rushed for more than 1,o00 yards as a redshirt freshman in 2016. Then, with Weber hampered by injury in 2017, Dobbins went for more than 1,400 as a true freshman.
Now, with both of those guys, plus Williams and true freshman Master Teague, the challenge is finding ways to keep everyone involved.
Alford and the players also shared updates on the quarterback race, Teague’s progress, and the chances that both Weber and Dobbins will see time on the field together.
