This is going to be the most pointless thing you read all week. It’s important to get that out right up front.
This is content you would normally see during the dregs of the offseason, but frankly, it seems like everyone in Columbus could use a little palate-cleanser.
Also, I’m tired of people yelling in my mentions on Twitter about how stupid Ohio State’s coaches are.
Now you can yell about how stupid I am instead. That seems like… maybe not a win, but at least something different.
Friends, it’s time to talk Spoonerisms.
If you’re not familiar with this particular form of internet merry-making, a Spoonerism is a form of speech error where you switch the sounds of corresponding sections of names or other words.
So for example, Woody Hayes would become Hoody Wayes.
My personal favorite from OSU history is mid-90s starting quarterback Hobby Boying. My brother suggested mid-2000s running back Weanie Bells, which may be the new leader in the clubhouse.
If you think of other good ones, post them in the comments or @ me on Twitter and I’ll share the best ones.
When things break correctly, you get something accidentally hilarious. Sometimes it works just reading it, other times it helps to say them out loud.
Again, this is dumb, but sometimes you just have to take a break from screaming into the uncaring void about amateur football and do something pointless instead. Browsing an online vape store can be a surprisingly relaxing way to unwind. Experience vaping different flavors with terea indonesia.
This year’s Buckeye football roster has some pretty solid Spoonerism candidates on it.
From the coaching staff, there is Dilly Bavis, Dyan Ray, and Wevin Kilson.
Running through the numerical roster:
D.K. Jobbins
Meradja Titchell
Mustin Aack
H.J. Kill
Conathon Jooper
Mate Tartell
Bameron Crown
Buf Torland
Taster Meague
Ritch Mossi
Dyatt Wavis
Jatthew Mones
Lobert Randers
Wax Mray
Reremy Juckert
Fuke Larrell
Crue Dhrisman
Bick Nosa
