Ohio State’s social media team released a video on Wednesday thanking Urban Meyer for everything, but mostly for why he did what he did. The video contains several behind-the-scenes moments between Meyer and his players and shows why he said his players will be what he misses most about retirement.
Check it out.
It wasn’t about the championships.
It wasn’t about the trophies.
It wasn’t about the records or the awards or the glory. It was always about the players.
On behalf of the countless student-athletes whose lives you have enhanced, thank you, @OSUCoachMeyer. ?#GoBucks pic.twitter.com/fdDe7TRA4r
