Reports were flying on Friday that Georgia freshman quarterback Justin Fields was transferring to Ohio State. Fields confirmed the reports via Twitter Friday evening.

Fields will now attempt to gain immediate eligibility and compete to be Ohio State’s starting quarterback in 2019.
As a rising sophomore, he will have three years of eligibility, even if he is forced to sit out the 2019 season.
