Ohio State’s issues with recruiting in-state offensive linemen are apparently no longer a problem.
Ben Christman, an offensive tackle from Richfield, Ohio just committed to the Buckeyes’ 2021 recruiting class.

Christman is the fourth offensive lineman from the state to commit to OSU in the 2020 and 2021 classes.
He is a 6-foot-6, 299 lb. prospect who earned third-team all-state honors as a sophomore in 2018.
He was credited with more than 30 pancake blocks as a freshman, and more than 60 as a sophomore.
He’s considered the No. 44 player overall in the 2021 class and the 9th-best offensive tackle.
Christman picked the Buckeyes over offers from programs like Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Notre Dame.
His highlight reel showcases a player with a solid motor who consistently finishes blocks.
He moves his feet well for a big player, and already plays with decent pad level on many snaps.
Revere plays in OHSAA’s Division 3, against medium-sized schools. But the shots of him driving smaller defensive linemen backward, 10 yards downfield are exactly what you’d expect out of a player headed for a Big Ten school, playing against that opposition.
With his size, and the fact that he may still grow another inch or two, Christman figures to play tackle at the college level.
Christman is the fourth commitment for the Buckeyes’ 2021 class. He is also the fifth offensive lineman to commit to the Buckeyes in the next two classes overall.
Five-star tackle Paris Johnson, 4-star center Luke Wypler, 3-star tackle Jakob James, and 3-star tackle Trey Leroux are the other players already in Ohio State’s 2020 class.
