Watch: Buckeye Coaches, Players Take Generational Quizzes

Ohio State Football Buckeyes Quizzes

The Ohio State Football social media team is always busy, and they have now cranked out some more tremendous content.

Yesterday, they released a video of some younger Buckeyes taking a quiz on what was popular in the 1990s.

In the video are second-year players Taron Vincent, Tyreke Johnson, Justin Fields, Sevyn Banks, and true freshman Cade Stover.

They are shown pictures and asked to name the item.

Up first is the logo for AOL.

Then comes Forrest Gump.

Later in the video, Vincent confidently answers that a Furbee is in fact a Chia Pet.

Warning: This video is going to make you feel very, very old.

And then today a video of the coaches taking their respective quizzes was released.

Participating were head coach Ryan Day, assistant secondary coach and special teams coordinator Matt Barnes, linebackers coach Al Washington, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson, and receivers coach Brian Hartline.

Washington immediately proclaims that he has not watched television “in like two years.” Wilson also did not expect to do well.

The star of the show was Barnes, who when shown a picture of Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, said it was in fact Game of Thrones, but didn’t know the character. When pressed for a name, he responded with, “%#&!, Carl? I don’t know.”

But Barnes did do very well overall.

Day also took part and accepted responsibility for not knowing rappers as well as he needs to.

Both videos are posted below. One will make you feel old, the other will make you laugh. Especially when Kevin Wilson has to pull in Ryan Day’s son, RJ, into the picture to answer one of the questions.

Here are the players.

And now the coaches.
