Liddell (6-7 220) is ranked the No. 47 player in the 2019 recruiting class and the No. 12 power forward overall per the 247Sports Composite.
Ohio State offered Liddell back in January and head coach Chris Holtmann paid him a visit in February. Liddell took an unofficial visit to OSU back in June and is expected to take an official visit later this month.
There are currently six Crystal Ball projections for Liddell and the Buckeyes own five of them. Missouri is receiving the outlier.
As a junior, Liddell averaged 20.9 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game.
In his highlights below, Liddell displays a fairly complete offensive game. He has easy 3-point range and a smooth release. He can put the ball on the floor and is under control. Liddell also has a nice post-up game that can take place near the basket or out beyond the elbow. He is able to catch and shoot from anywhere and also appears to be a strong rebounder. His ability to help on defense is also notable, as is his ability as a one-on-one defender.
Ohio State currently has two verbal commitments in the 2019 recruiting class with one spot available. Five-star point guard D.J. Carton committed a month ago, and 4-star power forward Alonzo Gaffney (No. 30 overall) has been committed since April.
