The Buckeyes throttled Oregon State and, as a result, we finally have some actual football to discuss on the Silver Bullets Podcast.
Michael Citro and Chip Minnich are here to break down what worked — pretty much everything on offense — and what didn’t — the back seven on defense — in the Buckeyes’ season-opening victory.
Both teams’ scoring surpassed our expectations and there were a lot of pleasant surprises with only a few minor disappointments, most of which are correctable.
We look ahead to Rutgers on Saturday and what we can expect from the B1G opener. An inexperienced Scarlet Knights quarterback will look mighty tasty to Nick Bosa and company and the Buckeye defense gotta eat.
Finally, we talk about the lone nonconference loss suffered by the Big Ten on Saturday (guess who?) and a couple other scares for some of the Big Ten East contenders.
