No, they didn’t see that coming either.
A very, very happy group of Ohio State Buckeyes met with the media after not just ruining Michigan’s season, but also clinching a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.
It was a performance that could not have been less like the listless 52-51 overtime win over Maryland a week earlier.
The Buckeyes rolled up 567 yards of total offense, and scored more points against their arch-rivals than they ever had before.
In fact, it was the most points Michigan has ever given up in any football game in its history.
True freshman wide receiver Chris Olave was the surprise breakout star, catching two touchdown passes and blocking another punt for a touchdown.
That blocked punt swung all the momentum of the game, part of a 20-0 run that put Ohio State firmly in control.
Below, you can hear everything Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes had to say after the game.

Mistake prone I agree, but never listless. As thrilling a comeback as one could ever see.
Agreed. 688 yards of offense against the Terps is hardly listless. The carryover against _ was well worth it.
