Business is booming on Ryan Day’s first Early Signing Day as the next coach at Ohio State.
The Buckeyes locked down three different 5-star commitments, defensive end Zach Harrison, wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and offensive lineman Harry Miller.
They are expected to add another player later in the afternoon.
Not everything went according to plan. Defensive back Jordan Battle flipped his commitment to Alabama as was widely expected, and quarterback Dwan Mathis signed with Georgia instead of the Buckeyes.
There is still work left to do, but for now, things are going pretty well inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Ryan Day, who will take over as OSU’s head coach after the Rose Bowl, met with the media on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the day and the Buckeyes’ recruiting class.
You can watch that press conference live below, starting around 2:o0 pm.
