In this episode of Accost the Field, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr give their thoughts immediately following Ohio State’s 52-6 win over Rutgers. How good is Dwayne Haskins? Was Tate Martell better? The defense was improved thanks to a couple of new additions. What did the coaches and players have to say after the game? All of this and more.

You guys didn’t mention that the Buckeyes gave Rutgers only 3 fewer yards by penalty than the Scarlet Kuh-niggets ‘earned’ on offense. Can’t do that against a decent team.
You both jumped on the bandwagon without mentioning that for nearly 2 decades now the Buckeyes have looked like world-beaters against the stiffs of college football (Oregon State, Rutgers), but got mixed results against teams with a pulse.
Was it me or were media trying to bait Tate into a quarterback controversy? Sure sounded like it.
