Just about everything went right for the Buckeyes on Saturday night in Lincoln as they rolled to a 48-7 win over Nebraska.
The offense piled up 368 yards on the ground and another 212 through the air.
The starting defense allowed less than 100 yards to the Huskers in nearly three full quarters before the backups came in.
The Buckeye secondary forced three interceptions, every player who carried the ball averaged at least six yards per carry – there wasn’t much that could have gone better for the scarlet and gray.
Afterward, head coach Ryan Day, assistant coaches Jeff Hafley and Greg Mattison, quarterback Justin Fields, cornerback Jeff Okudah, and safety Jordan Fuller were among the Buckeyes who met with the media after the game to discuss the win.
