There is plenty of talk about the large number of receivers who return for the Buckeyes this season, and even a little bit of talk about sophomore Jaylen Harris who only had a couple of catches last season. There has been virtually no talk about redshirt freshman Ellijah Gardiner, however. But don’t worry. “Man, a whole…
Why did I rank the wide receivers as an area of low concern? Look at the group of players returning. They are bundant with redshirt seniors and juniors. The wide receivers come into 2018 with experience across the board. Looking at Ohio State’s 2017 season statistics, the only player with at least 10 receptions who will…
Today is the final day for college football’s underclassmen to declare for the NFL, and as long as nothing changes, the same group of Buckeye receivers who practiced during bowl prep will also be practicing during spring camp. In other words, the entire band is back together and they’re currently in the studio working on a new album for this fall.

Freshman cornerback Amir Riep and freshman wide receiver Ellijah Gardiner became the 15th and 16th freshmen to be de-striped this year. Amir Riep came to Ohio State as a four-year…

Lindsey, a 4-star speedster out of Las Vegas, committed to Ohio State in August, but waited until January to decommit and head to Nebraska. This left Ohio State scrambling for another wide receiver to fill out their class. Urban Meyer’s staff…
Back in February, I gave you five (or so) predictions for Ohio State’s 2017 early enrollees, so I thought it would be a good idea to do the same for the rest of the freshmen now that they are all on campus. I’m going to use the same topics that I did in February. I could say it was for clarity’s sake, but in reality it’s…
