The final game for the 2017 Ohio State Buckeyes takes place tonight and it is going to bring some broad and wide-ranging thoughts from everyone watching the game. In terms of what you will be saying, however, I think I have a pretty good grasp on it. Granted, I did have to clean up much of the cussing, and since it’s a night game…
Here is the thing about trying to point out five “Instant Impact” signees from Ohio State’s 2018 recruiting class — there is talented depth in front of each of them, and I think most of them could benefit greatly from a redshirt season. So we should probably dial back what we mean by “instant impact.” For this class — which is arguably…
We are once again smack dab in the middle of NFL Mock Draft Season, so I thought I would go through some of the more prominent mock drafts and see where some familiar names appeared — or didn’t appear. I went through seven different mock drafts — CBS Sports, Walter Football, USA Today, Todd McShay, Sports Illustrated…
The Buckeyes don’t play this week, so I don’t have any game predictions to make. That doesn’t mean I’m just going to sit by and let my skills diminish. As we say in the predicting industry, every day spent without a prediction is a day you could have been predicting something. It’s not the best saying. Our members aren’t good at writing stuff…
This is going to be an opportunity for the Ohio State defense to play against some very good offensive personnel, but not so good that they make the Buckeyes look bad. Similarly, the Terps aren’t pushovers on defense, but the Ohio State offense should still be able to do what they want if they fight hard enough to do it.
Every road game in the Big Ten has the potential for a loss, even games in New Jersey. Granted, it would take a lot, but stranger things have probably happened. Ohio State visits Rutgers in a 7:30 pm kick Saturday night, and the Buckeyes couldn’t have better hosts. In their 13 previous home conference games, only twice has…
I know there are some fans who look at games like this one against UNLV as a waste of time, but it’s really an opportunity to see your Buckeyes in an environment where they can excel. No, it’s not Penn State or Michigan, but if you like to see exciting things from your favorite team, this is a chance for that to happen.
It’s the biggest game of the week — No. 5 Oklahoma at your No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. Both teams had relatively easy wins last week, though only the Buckeyes were playing an opponent where that should count for something. The winner of this game gets a massive credit line extended to them, while the loser will go back…
