Ohio State led the Big Ten in rushing the past three seasons, and even though they finished second in 2014, their 264.5 yards rushing that season was more than any season that followed it. Under Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes have led the conference in rushing four times and finished second to Wisconsin twice. This year, however, things…
COLUMBUS — Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer spoke with reporters following practice Wednesday night. Also meeting with the media were offensive line coach Greg Studrawa, receivers coach Brian Hartline, receiver Terry McLaurin, and linebacker Justin Hilliard. At Ohio State, when a player has officially earned a starting position, his position coach calls his family to share the exciting news. It has always been an emotional moment for the parents. Sophomore left tackle Thayer Munford’s mother didn’t quite get that same experience, but her special moment was still filled with emotions and tears.
When Jamarco Jones graduated after last season, it was expected that Isaiah Prince would step in and play left tackle for his final season as a Buckeye. Prince opened the spring at left tackle, but did close it that way. Instead, Prince was back at the right tackle spot where he had started for the previous two seasons, and…

Guards Michael Jordan and Branden Bowen — who were the opening day starters last…
Before spring football began for the Buckeyes, it was thought that fifth-year senior Brady Taylor and fouth-year junior Matt Burrell would compete to fill the vacancy left by the departure of center Billy Price. Once camp began, however, redshirt freshman Josh Myers was also in the conversation. Myers, a former 5-star offensive…
Urban Meyer and his offensive coordinators have said on a number of occasions that the positives of a competitive quarterback battle is that everybody comes through it having improved significantly. With no returning starter at the position for the Buckeyes, improvement would be ideal. So where did those improvements occur…
Ohio State offensive line coach Greg Studrawa doesn’t know yet exactly what his starting offensive line is going to be this year. The good news for him is that he may have more legitimate options than any OSU offensive line coach in decades. The Buckeyes went about replacing All-Big Ten left tackle Jamarco Jones and…
