Ohio State could be receiving some good news this weekend, as Murfreesboro, Tennessee running back Master Teague is set to announce his verbal commitment on Sunday. He will be choosing from four presumed finalists of Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia, and Auburn.

Teague (5-11 210) received an offer from the Buckeyes on Friday after working out for the OSU coaches at camp. He posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.31 seconds and a vertical leap of 42.5″.

Teague is set to tweet out his commitment video Sunday at 4:33 pm. The video was shot on May 21, which was a few days after his announced top three of Tennessee, Georgia, and Auburn. He has also visited the Alabama Crimson Tide recently, though they did not reportedly make an offer.

How many endings did he film? Good question.

When Ohio State offered on Friday, they did so knowing that a commitment could soon follow. They are currently in the mix for Zamir White, who is the nation’s top 2018 running back. White is from Laurinburg, North Carolina and is going to be a difficult pull out of the Southeast.

If Teague commits to Ohio State, then that will effectively end the chase for White, who many believe will ultimately end up with Georgia or Clemson anyway.

The Buckeyes have a pair of running backs already committed, in Florida prospect Brian Snead and Ohio prospect Jaelen Gill. Gill projects as an H-back at Ohio State, but on Saturday he won the RB MVP at the Rivals 5-Star Challenge in Indianapolis.

Teague rushed for over 2,000 yards as a junior. He is rated as a 3-star prospect by every service except for 247Sports, which has him as a 4-star prospect and the No. 8 running back in the nation.

We will have more following the announcement.
