Six weeks after surprising people with his verbal commitment to Ohio State, St. Louis shooting guard Torrence Watson decommitted from head coach Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes.
He announced the news via Twitter.

When he committed, Watson (6-4 175) was ranked the No. 100 player in the class per the 247Sports Composite and the No. 23 shooting guard in the nation. He is from St. Louis, Missouri (Whitfield School), and is rated the No. 3 player in the state. He was a First-Team All-State selection as a junior, averaging a St. Louis area-high 29 points per game last season.
The decommitment once again leaves the Buckeyes with zero 2018 commitments.
Three-star Indianapolis (Ben Davis High School) wing Aaron Henry is scheduled to visit Ohio State on Sunday. He is rated the No. 50 small forward in the 2018 class per the 247Sports Composite. He visited Xavier early in the week and recently named a top five of Ohio State, Xavier, Michigan State, Butler, and Illinois.
