Buckeyes and Black Knights Sing “Carmen Ohio” Together

One of the most memorable moments from Saturday’s 38-7 Buckeye win over Army came after the clock hit 0:00.

First, the Buckeyes joined Army in the north end zone to sing the USMA Alma Mater. Then, the teams crossed the field, stood in front of South Stands and sang “Carmen Ohio.”

It was a sign of the mutual respect between the programs, and a nod to one of Army’s greatest traditions, the Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen standing for each other’s respective alma maters at the end of their annual rivalry. Just like after the Army/Navy game, the winning team gets the honor of singing their song last. was front-and-center to get a unique 360 degree video of this incredible moment. If you’re on a cell phone, you can watch the video below and move your phone around to see the teams, the Ohio State Marching Band, Block O, and anything else. 1. It’s sad there aren’t more comments for a good story like this one. Some people talk about tradition, while others honor it. Great stuff by both teams, real class.
