Watch J.T. Barrett’s Postgame Address to His Team: ‘Long live the brotherhood’

J.T. Barrett Ohio State Football Buckeyes

On Saturday against No. 2 Penn State, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett had the kind of performance that every kid who dreams about such things dreams about. Barrett completed 33-of-39 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 95 yards on 17 carries.

After the game, he spoke to his team and had some words for his teammates and anybody who doubted what the Buckeyes could do. Check it out.

And while we’re at it, here’s Barrett’s position coach Ryan Day showing off some sweet dance moves.

  1. It was really wonderful to have the results show who definitely was the better team. There is very little that one could find wrong with the evening’s performance by all, especially JT. It definitely changed the list of candidates for the much sought after Heisman Trophy. It couldn’t happen to a finer young man than JT. He has done his family proud. While all of this is true and the Buckeyes are now really in the mix for the final four, there does remain one stick in the crawl of many fans. That is the preponderance of sideline passes that seem to achieve very little positive in the Buckeye offense. Earlier in the season, the lack of up the field or crossing routes in the defensive secondary seemed to be offset by more of the sideliners which it is nice to see the receiving corps has progressed allowing for less passes to the sideline.. With the progress that they have achieved for the Buckeyes, I would hope the offensive coordinator would tear those sideline pass pages out of the playbook.
