Accost the Field — Episode 22: Tourney Bound

Accost the Field Ohio State Football Podcast Ohio State Podcast

On this edition of Accost the Field, we discuss the big Ohio State basketball win over No. 1 Michigan State, as well as what the Buckeyes could do the rest of the season in Big Ten play. Is OSU a tournament team? Based on what we’ve seen so far, yep. What kind of tourney run could they make?

We then take a turn toward football and Nick Saban’s quarterback move and compare it and contrast it to Ohio State’s situation this past season.

Talk then moves on to the news of the week, including Ohio State’s hiring of defensive coach Alex Grinch. Which position will he be manning? Will Greg Schiano be tasked with helping the linebackers now? We then finish up by talking about the departure of Jerome Baker to the NFL and revisit the rest of the Buckeyes who have yet to make an NFL decision.
