It is officially High School All-American Game Week as both the Under Armour All-American Game and the Army All-American Bowl take place this week.
Up first is the Under Armour Game, which kicks off at 6:00 pm on ESPN2 and features four current Ohio State signees, and potentially a couple more.
Here is your list of future Buckeyes to watch, as well as a few other players to keep your eyes on.
Ohio State Signees
55 OL Matthew Jones (Team Highlight)
This will be a good opportunity to see how Jones performs outside of New York City football. He has gone up against some of the best defensive linemen in the nation this week during the lead-up to this game. He projects to the interior for the Buckeyes, but where he ends up this week is anybody’s guess. The No. 21 player in the nation per ESPN.
7 LB Teradja Mitchell (Team Highlight)
Mitchell earned a captain’s nod from the coaches this week for his performance and leadership. Expect to see him in the middle for Team Highlight. The recruiting services fell out of love a bit with Mitchell during the offseason camp circuit because they felt he was too heavy. He slimmed down in time for the actual football season and performed well as a senior.
7 RB Brian Snead (Team Highlight)
Snead rushed for 1,378 yards and 16 touchdowns in 15 games during his senior year, leading Armwood (14-1) to the 6A state finals. Rushed for over 3,500 yards in his high school career. Has had a good week of prep. Does things like this with the football.

24 CB Sevyn Banks (Team Highlight)
Banks missed his junior season with an injury, but Ohio State saw enough of him to accept his commitment in the spring prior to his senior season. He did nothing this year to jeopardize his standing with the Buckeyes.
Ohio State Targets
14 DE Tyreke Smith (Team Highlight)
Smith will be making his verbal commitment at some point during the game, and most expect him to select the Buckeyes. He is reminiscent of departing OSU defensive end Tyquan Lewis in size and determination. Smith was the Ohio Division I Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He is the No. 4 weakside defensive end in the nation per the 247Sports Composite.
22 DE Jayson Oweh (Team Spotlight)
Oweh is also committing to a team during the game, but that team is expected to be Penn State. Ohio State would welcome him in with open arms, however.
78 OT Nicholas Petit-Frere (Team Spotlight)
Petit-Frere is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation per 247Sports and he would be one heck of an answer to losing Jackson Carman. Petit-Frere is from Tampa and many believe that he will eventually take an official visit to Ohio State this month. If they can get him on campus, then look out. He is expected to be a signing day decision.
Other Names of Note
6 QB Emory Jones (Team Highlight)
Jones was once committed to Ohio State, but signed with Florida when OSU could no longer wait for him to stop shopping around. He has not had a great week of practice, but that’s not unusual, especially for players from smaller areas like Jones.
8 DE Brenton Cox (Team Highlight)
Also was once committed to Ohio State, but decided to stay closer to home and sign with Georgia. Like Jones, he has also not had a great week per reports.
30 LB Xavier Peters (Team Highlight)
Peters is an Ohio linebacker who did not receive an Ohio State offer. Like most Ohio players who do not receive OSU offers, he ended up at Kentucky.
72 OL Daniel Fa’aiele (Team Highlight)
Fa’aiele is listed at 6-foot-8 and 400 pounds. He is one of two Minnesota signees at the game. Also, he is 6-foot-8 and 400 pounds.
1 QB Justin Fields (Team Spotlight)
Fields is a Georgia signee who is supposed to be the next big thing. He was once committed to Penn State.
3 RB Ricky Slade (Team Spotlight)
Slade could help pick up some of the slack for Penn State now that Saquon Barkley is headed for the NFL.
14 QB Adrian Martinez (Team Spotlight)
Martinez could be the guy at the controls for Scott Frost and Nebraska next year.
80 TE Mustapha Muhammad (Team Spotlight)
6 SAF Myles Sims (Team Spotlight)
