No. 17 Ohio State (20-5, 11-1) defeated Illinois (12-12, 2-9) 75-67 Sunday afternoon in the Schottenstein Center thanks in part to a 19-0 run at the end of the first half. The Buckeyes played without senior guard Kam Williams, who was suspended indefinitely prior to the game. Ohio State was led by Keita Bates-Diop with 35 points and 13 rebounds. Kaleb Wesson chipped in a double-double as well, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
